Haydock, 1:55pm – It is £63,000 Group 3 Rose Of Lancaster Stakes day at the track (2:30pm) with Owen Burrows expected to run the unbeaten Laraaib who is now 3 from 3 having won a valuable handicap at Ascot last time; the card also contains the £47,000 Listed Dick Hern Stakes (for fillies and mares, 3:35pm); the card starts with a Pro-Am Lady Riders’ Race

Newmarket, 2pm – The card contains the £40,000 Group 3 Sweet Solera Stakes for 2yo fillies (3:40pm). There are also three £20,000 Class 2 Handicaps 3:05pm, 4:15pm and 4:50pm.  Runaway leader in the flat jockey championship, Silvestre De Sousa, rides the well fancied Dance Diva in the feature for Richard Fahey.

Lingfield, 5:10pm – A seven-race card on the turf with field sizes of 10-6-12-7-10-8-5. Top jockeys on the card include Oisin Murphy, Fran Berry, Pat Cosgrave, Sean Levey, Martin Harley and Silvestre de Sousa – the latter makes the trip from Newmarket for just one ride on Glenamoy Lad for Michael Wigham (7:40pm)

Kilbeggan, 5:30pm – A National Hunt card with a €20,000 feature (a handicap chase) at 8pm. The card begins with a maiden hurdle over 2m and finishes with a National Hunt flat race (Bumper) over the same distance. Trainers Willie Mullins, Gordon Elliot and Joseph O’Brien all have some interesting entries on the card.

Ayr, 5:50pm – The card starts with a Lady Riders’ Pro-Am handicap over 1m and ends with a Class 6 Handicap over 1m 7f. The feature, at 7:20pm, is the £10,000 QTS Ladies’ Night Grand Spectacular Handicap; field-sizes are 14-7-11-9-9-10 and 10

The World Athletic Championships run from Friday August 04 to Sunday August 13, from Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, London, England.
