Galway, 2:25pm – a National Hunt card with a €20,000 feature, a mares’ hurdle, at 3:25pm. The card begins with a 2m Maiden Hurdle in which Willie Mullins and Ruby Walsh team up with Stratum who showed plenty of talent on the flat in the UK when trained by John Gosden. Mullins and Walsh also team up in the feature at 3:25pm with Contingency who won stylishly in her debut over hurdles in first race for her new yard last time out

Hughie Fury v Joseph Parker – New Zealander Joseph Parker makes the second defence of his WBO world heavyweight title at the Manchester Arena. Parker is undefeated in 23 fights with 18 knockouts but this will be his first fight in the UK as he faces mandatory challenger Hughie Fury who will be fighting for his cousin Tyson’s old belt.
